This group is a key part of the NRNE Partnership and brings together people with lived experience of No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF) to connect, share experiences, and help shape how support is designed and delivered across the North East.

Invitation to Join the NRNE Lived Experience Group
Are you affected by having No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF)?
Would you like to meet others, share experiences, and help shape how support works in the North East?
The NRNE Lived Experience Group is part of the NRNE Partnership. It brings together people with lived experience of NRPF to connect, share experiences, and influence change.
The group meets regularly and works together on shared priorities, including exploring services, sharing experiences, and contributing to how support is designed and delivered locally.
Why join?
The group offers a safe and welcoming space where you can:
- Meet others with similar experiences
- Share your views (only if you feel comfortable)
- Learn about services and opportunities available
- Help improve how organisations support people with NRPF
- Build confidence and be part of positive change
Who is this for?
We welcome people who:
- Have lived experience of No Recourse to Public Funds (NRPF)
- Would like to connect with others and share experiences
- Are interested in helping shape services and support

- Meetings take place every 6 weeks in a friendly, supportive environment
- You can take part in a way that feels right for you
- Support is available to help you feel comfortable and included
- Vouchers provided as a thank you for your time
